Bid Write was started in 2008 by long time friends David Lunn and Nigel Dennis. After initially studying together at university (a few years ago now), they took different career paths. David found his way into corporate procurement and issuing tenders, and Nigel eventually ended up responding to bids as a Proposals Manager in an international engineering firm.
These careers meant David and Nigel were on opposite sides of the tender transaction, and this produced many spirited discussions. But it was these discussions that made them both realise that each side could actually learn so much from the other. Out of this realisation Bid Write was started to bring together the complementary skills of these two experienced professionals.
The friendship of David and Nigel has continued into their business and into their relationships with clients. This is complemented by an outcomes-oriented and no-nonsense approach to getting the job done that provides tangible and lasting results to clients on both sides of the tender transaction.
