Nigel Dennis

CPP APMP Fellow Director

Nigel is a co-founder and director of BidWrite. He is considered a leading consultant in the proposal management profession in Australia. He also has a significant presence and reputation on the international stage having presented at seven annual world proposal management conferences since 2008.

Since writing his first proposal in 1994, Nigel has combined his background in engineering, studies in marketing and interest in writing to help organisations win hundreds of bids and billions of contract dollars across most industries. Strengths include bid strategy development, bid management, bid planning, writing, editing, coaching and training. He knows what it takes to win.

As a strong advocate for development of the profession, Nigel started the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) chapter in Australia and New Zealand in 2008 and has served on the chapter board every year since then. He was the Chapter Chair from 2012 to 2015 and is the current Certification Chair. From 2011 to 2013 he also served a 3-year term on the international APMP Board of Directors, the only Australian to date to be appointed to that board.

Nigel was the first Australian to achieve the APMP’s highest level of professional certification (CPP APMP) as a recognised proposal professional and thought leader. In 2015 he was also made a Fellow of the APMP for his outstanding contributions to the proposal profession.
