BidWrite receives ‘Big Leap’ Award at Abundance Global’s 2022 Gala Night in Brisbane
Last month BidWrite attended a two-day retreat in Brisbane hosted by our business coaches Abundance Global.
During this retreat, BidWrite’s Directors reviewed and re-set the company’s one, two, three and five-year goals, reviewed existing plans and strategies, and updated these to align with the newly set goals.
In addition, the Directors identified and agreed on the next ‘Big Rocks’ – major innovation projects to be completed over the next four-month sprint.

Following the first jam-packed day of the retreat, Abundance Global hosted a formal gala and awards evening during which BidWrite won the coveted ‘Big Leap’ Award. This award recognises a business from the Abundance Global client base which, in their view, made the biggest leap in the last 12 months, in terms of innovation, business practices and business mindset.
The BidWrite team is very proud to receive this award – a true testament to all the hard work that has gone into recent projects like the launch of our engagement plans and the Bid Academy. These have been coupled with a host of operational improvements and the introduction of a number of important people/professional development initiatives designed to support the professional pathways and well-being of BidWrite staff.

The awards evening also included a charity auction, with the proceeds being donated to Women’s Legal Service Queensland. WLSQ is an impactful Queensland-wide service providing free legal help for women on domestic violence, complex family law or sexual assault matters.
BidWrite donated a space in our upcoming 12-week Bid Accelerator program to the auction for this very important cause. This prize was hotly contested, with the highest bidder committing $1,500 to the WLSQ. We also contributed further by placing some winning bids on a number of other auction items.
An extra special thanks to Abundance Global and all the attendees for an excellent retreat and fun awards evening, and to our wonderful staff who make working on the BidWrite business such a pleasure.
