International APMP Awards Sweep
BidWrite co-founder and Director Nigel Dennis has just returned from the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) Bid and Proposal Con 2015 held in Seattle USA, where he presented a session on persuasive writing.
However, Nigel’s suitcase was heavier on the return journey, due to him winning three awards, including the esteemed Fellows Award.
The Fellows Award is the APMP’s highest individual honour and a lifetime achievement award. This was presented to Nigel in recognition of his worldwide contributions to the bid and proposal profession over the course of his career.
Nigel was also awarded APMP Chapter Chair of the Year 2014 for his work on the APMP Australia New Zealand (ANZ) Chapter. On behalf of the region, he also collected an award for selling the most corporate APMP memberships in 2014.
In addition to assisting hundreds of organisations to win business through live tender support and ongoing training over two decades, Nigel has been a strong advocate for development of the profession through board involvement at national and international levels.
Most significantly, he served a three year term on the APMP International Board of Directors from 2011 to 2013, the first Australian to be appointed to the board.
